How does the ideal business world of the future work? Fabasoft is answering this question with the launch of Fabasphere – the AI-powered home for all of the Group’s software solutions – and is renewing its entire brand identity at the same time.

Idea & Concept

Fabasoft is Europe’s leading software provider for document and process management for companies and public institutions. With the introduction of the Fabasphere, the Group is creating a central umbrella for its AI-based software solutions.

The branding follows the idea of making the Fabasphere a place that can be experienced: Recognizable from the outside by graphic elements with flowing gradients and round shapes that move, connect or transform organically. Anyone entering the Fabasphere is immersed in a networked, harmonious vision of the ideal business world of the future, in which humans and artificial intelligence work in harmony. A broad set of illustrations tells this brand story at all touchpoints.

The claim “Business with Higher Intelligence” condenses this idea and becomes the promise of the Fabasphere: For a working world that is not only efficient, but more intelligent, more transparent and in the interests of the common good.

The sphere is the creative foundation of the brand – from the logo and key visuals to the specially developed font. It symbolizes connection, transformation and holistic intelligence. All design elements are consistently derived from this form – and thus tell the same story in every application: that of the Fabasphere as the central force field of a new digital era.

Die Fabasoft Solution

The illustrations provide an insight into the Fabasphere and make abstract software topics intuitively understandable. Each application is embodied by an individual key visual that aesthetically abstracts its complex field of application. Inspired by Syd Mead’s visionary style from the 1970s, the stylistically reinterpreted motifs tell of a cooperative future in which humans and AI work together on solutions for business, administration and society.

For maximum coherence, a modular logo system was developed that unites the umbrella brand and all software solutions in a clear typographic line – with the specially created font “Fabasoft Sans Logo” as the connecting element.

The Fabasphere and its software solutions are given a signet in addition to the word mark. It shows the moment in which a solution detaches itself from the core of the Fabasphere. A special animation system makes this transformation visible: each individual solution is part of the entire Fabasphere. Complementary icons visually differentiate the solutions and make the respective product easier to understand.

Fabasoft Sans was developed especially for the brand – a font family whose geometric curves and precise construction consistently continue the visual principle of the sphere. Every curve, every line carries the idea of the Fabasphere within it and makes the brand identity tangible even in the typography.
